The event will be held at the Royal Society of Medicine in central London, and chaired by St George's, University of London. For those wishing to attend remotely, the Symposium will be live-streamed through the Royal Society of Medicine virtual platform. Registration is required for both in-person and remote attendance. For in-person attendees lunch and refreshments will be included in the price of your ticket.
Practical EchocardiographyDescriptionWe believe this short course will be helpful to trainees with an interest in cardiology, acute/general and also emergency medicine but would also be of interest to trainees more broadly who might simply wish to learn a bit more about echocardiography. We will cover the following areas: • Practical workshop & experience of acquiring basic echo images • Basic principles of performing an echo • When to request an echo • How to interpret echo results
